Polygon brings Solana into its Open Money Stack
Polygon added Solana to Open Money Stack, connecting bank and card funding, stablecoin transfers and payouts so businesses can keep settlement on Solana.

Polygon Labs says its Open Money Stack connects fiat funding, on-chain balances and payouts; on Oct. 29, the company added Solana support, letting businesses build those flows around the network through one integration, according to Polygon’s announcement.
The addition gives businesses a route between Solana stablecoin balances and fiat payment channels without requiring customers to manage each provider or cross-chain step themselves.
Polygon says businesses can accept deposits by bank transfer, card, cash or crypto, convert fiat to crypto on Solana and back, and hold funds in custodial or embedded Solana wallets. The stack can also program when and where funds move, route tokens between Solana, Polygon, TRON and EVM chains, and pay out to bank accounts, cards, cash or wallets.
How does the Solana payment flow work?
Polygon describes a flow from bank pay-in to a customer account, then to a stablecoin balance and eventual payout. Its supported assets include USDC, USDT, PYUSD, SOL and wrapped SOL; the company says it can route them between Solana, TRON and EVM chains in a single transaction. That can let a business accept an asset on one network and settle in another, while keeping Solana as its chosen settlement layer.
The fiat legs rely on Polygon’s on- and off-ramp infrastructure, which the company says is backed by money transmitter licenses across 48 U.S. states. It says customers can convert dollars to stablecoins on Solana and cash out to a bank account, card or cash. The announcement does not specify payout coverage outside the United States.
Which businesses are using the integration?
Kira is among the first customers using the Solana expansion, according to The Block’s report. The cross-border payments company helps clients move between dollars and stablecoins, send payments through banking rails and pay suppliers abroad. Kira CEO Edrizio De La Cruz said the integration helps turn stablecoin transfers on Solana into dollars in clients’ bank accounts when supplier payments are due.
The expansion adds Solana to a stack Polygon says already connects payment functions such as customer accounts, wallets, conversion and payouts. The Block reported that TRON had also been added earlier in October. Solana Foundation chief product officer Vibhu Norby told The Block that the network had processed more than $5.5 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026, and described Polygon’s stack as another option alongside payment infrastructure already available across Solana’s ecosystem.
